Errol Spence Slams Adrien Broner Ahead Of Pacquiao Fight

Errol Spence might be under the same banner as Adrien Broner at Premier Boxing Champions, in the same weight division and managed by the same guy in Al Haymon, but he’s gone on record now about we he really thinks of him.

Spence will take on Mikey Garcia in a huge fight next March in a bit of news that has delighted boxing fans this week.

Speaking in a media scrum when asked about the upcoming Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner fight in January Spence said:

“I think it’s a good fight. Broner’s just got to focus man. If Broner can make it a tough fight for Pacquiao. If he focuses, he’s moving, he’s turning and lets his hands go like he used to when he was at 135lbs then he has a chance of winning.”

He added:

“I don’t like him (Adrien Broner). I don’t like him as a person or as a fighter.”

No beating around the bush there.

Perhaps an early verbal jab that could spark talks about a fight between the two one day.

Errol Spence you’d have to think would start as a favorite given the considerable size and strength advantage he has.

Broner has never really been a welterweight and Spence is more of a junior-middleweight in fairness.
