Gennady Golovkin is currently enjoying a well deserved rest for the remainder of the year but after his recent loss to Canelo Alvarez in their rematch, who should ‘GGG’ fight next year in 2019? In the meantime, his promoter Tom Loeffler has caused a considerable stir pertaining to a fresh claim surrounding an alleged drug test on Canelo’s side in the recent rematch.

Canelo won the fight back in September after surprising the boxing world with aggressive tactics where he boxed Golovkin on the front foot for large portions in the bout.

Here is what Golokin’s promoter Tom Loeffler is claiming about a scheduled test that he alleges was cancelled for Canelo after the fight:

Jake, Vada scheduled a random test for GGG a week after the fight. I made sure that Canelo was also going to be tested. Next day the random test was cancelled. Talks of a possible third fight between the two boxers will only be helped by the above, no doubt.

Loeffler has been embarrassing himself and coming off like the ultimate sore loser. Canelo took all the tests is enrolled in year round testing, fought your guy Mexican Style like you cried for, and it was GGG who tapped out a Mexican Style fight and got walked down and his face
