This past weekend a fighter fighting live on ESPN who was clearly out of his depth in the professional ranks was pitted with against a boxer who was clearly more experienced. It hasn’t gone unnoticed with fight fans either.
Emanuel Williams of Louisiana made his pro debut live on ESPN this weekend but was clearly not ready for what he was put in there with against opponent John Rincon.
Here’s the footage that tells the full story:

Rincon would score an easy knockout to end William’s debut not long after but the question to the matchmaker above does have to be asked — how did the above even happen in the first place?
Usually cards of this nature are thoroughly vetted but alas the above seemed to slip through the cracks on this occasion:
Did they pull someone out from the audience to box or something ?

It’s more embarrassing for the boxer who can’t catch him there

It’s such a dangerous sport. All relevant parties need to think hard before implementing this farce.

It is understood that the bout was stopped shortly after via a body shot.
