Manny Pacquiao appears to be as fast as ever judging by this ahead of his next bout against Adrien Broner in Vegas on January 19th.
Pacquiao showed plenty of speed last time out when he stopped Lucas Matthysse earlier this year in Malaysia and on the whole, 2018 appears to have been a year where the Filipino has found his love once again for the boxing game in the final stretch of his career.
Pacquiao has always relied on his speed as one of his best assets but now at his advanced age, he also has the experience and wisdom in the ring to understand how to pick and choose his moments when he needs to explode with it.
This video from Fight Hub YouTube shows he’s still got those blistering fast hands — even now:
He’s not finished just yet. That’s for sure.
Indeed, bookmakers make him the favorite despite his four-weight world title-winning challenger Broner being much younger than him.
That will tell you how much the bookies, like many within boxing, have little to no faith in Broner mainly because of his lack of focus outside the ring.
It will be to Adrien to prove people wrong come January 19th as he bids to try to rediscover his eye of the Tiger over the holidays.
