Gennady Golovkin’s New Network Looks Set

Middleweight knockout artist Gennady Golovkin is currently enjoying some well earned rest and time off after back to back fights with Canelo Alvarez over the last 18 months or so.

Last time out Canelo won the pair’s fight but speculation has existed that a trilogy bout will be in the offering for next year.

Canelo boxes this weekend live on DAZN in his first fight of an 11 bout deal over five years reported to be worth three hundred and sixty five million dollars.

Nothing was mentioned however on if Gennady Golovkin would follow him over onto the platform.

Golovkin has not announced yet where he’ll fight on next but today it has emerged on the NSAC schedule that his promotional company and Golden Boy are planning an event in Vegas to be shown on new US streaming platform DAZN.

While not officially confirmed just yet all signs are pointing to being DAZN as the new home for ‘GGG’ in the US.

Expect more on this soon.
