Manny Pacquiao turned 40 this week but if his last fight is anything to go by, he’s not done at the top level of professional boxing just yet.
His last fight saw the PacMan turn back the clocks with a stoppage win against big hitting Lucas Matthysse — something Pacquiao had not done in over nine years before the fight.
This time round he’ll have his old coach back in his corner, too — in Freddie Roach.
Between Roach and Buboy Fernandez, Pacquiao’s renewed motivation should in theory be further boosted.
Ahead of the fight the first glimpse of Showtime’s build-up content has been released and Pacquiao explains his motivation for the fight, while Broner lets him know his:
“I just want to prove that Manny Pacquiao is still there. Still alive. Still dangerous.”

The fight takes place January 19th live on Showtime pay per view from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
