Everything is popping off in boxing at the moment and a number of fighters could still, in theory, land the shot at Anthony Joshua come April 13th at Wembley stadium.
The thing is though, the fights that people really want to see him in are either against WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder or lineal champion Tyson Fury.
The latter did not seem likely as a rematch between Fury and Wilder seemed to be the main thing on the table for both but now after an interview with Boxing Social, Tyson Fury’s trainer Ben Davison has suggested that everything is still up in the air and that Fury is leaning towards letting Wilder and Joshua fight first and him taking on the winner.
This would really leave the door open for Joshua vs Wilder on April 13th provided both teams can come to a deal.
Don’t be fooled by the smokescreens out there at the moment and the conflicting information.
Things have changed once again and now Joshua vs Wilder looks set to be the front runner for April 13th.
