What a year its been for the sweet science in and out of the ring.
The sport was shown to more people than ever before around the world in a truly glorious time for professional boxing.
But let’s not get carried away just yet and get ahead of ourselves too much.
One bad pay per view like David Haye vs Audley Harrison (remember that) a few years ago can quickly unravel all the good work done by everybody in boxing over the last few years.
You still have to work at it when times are good to guard against the bad times.
It’s important to remain humble and keep the feet on the ground no matter how good things are in life really.
That said, 2018 has been a big year for boxing and next year is shaping up to be even bigger so it’s nice at this time of the year too to look back on some of the best moments.
