Renowned boxing trainer and ESPN commentator Teddy Atlas is never shy to give his take on judging decisions in boxing.
This past weekend Jermell Charlo lost his undefeated record to Tony Harrison in a very controversial decision at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York.
Most have said the decision was unjust but in a surprise reaction to a controversial decision for once, Atlas has taken a different view.
Speaking on Christmas day from his Instagram account Teddy Atlas posted the following:
Atlas as a trainer to 18 world champions in his time certainly has plenty of pedigree when making statements like the above.
As regards Charlo, it will be back to the gym and drawing board ahead of 2019.
A loss at the end of the day is no big deal provided he learns from it and uses it as a positive in the new year.
