The Ring Magazine, considered the go to source for credible boxing awards on a yearly basis have now confirmed all eight award winners for this year’s end of 2018 awards.

Particularly apt I thought was the acknowledgement of Brendan Ingle in the most inspirational award:
An Irish man who moved to Britain that ultimately would become one of the great boxing trainers of his era — nice to see an American publication in The Ring take notice of this.
Brendan passed earlier this year and this award is a nice touch in his memory.
A man who had a profoundly positive impact on the people he met and communities he was a part of throughout his life time.
