Respected boxing trainer Floyd Mayweather senior is more behind the scenes these days since his son Floyd junior retired from boxing (professionally for now at least) but is still vocal as ever when he does pop up in the media.
Many believe Mayweather senior to be one of the best defensive trainers of his time.
An outspoken character, perhaps he didn’t receive the praise that he should have.
Certainly his brother Roger didn’t in this regard.
But anyone who knows boxing will tell you both know the sport as good as anyone.
Speaking to a group of reporters in an open media scrum he have his thoughts on the upcoming Pacquiao vs Broner fight:
“Probably Pacquiao (will win the fight). Broner don’t really throw enough punches and he mad at Floyd because he can’t do his shoulder roll and he never will – forget it.”
Pacquiao vs Broner takes place on January 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
