Much loved Filipino boxer Donnie Nietes became the WBO super-flyweight champion of the world this morning after a hard fought battle in Macao, China.
Nietes started the fight strong while Ioka came back into the bout in the second half of the championship contest.
A close fight, no doubt, there has been already a lot of debate in the boxing world to the split decision and the three judges’ scorecards for the twelve rounds.
