The fight between the two was formally confirmed today for February 23rd and will be on ITV pay per view in the UK.

One of the main stories around the fight besides the compelling nature of it and the fact it’s a genuine grudge match is that Eubank Jr has decided to bring in a new coach for the match.
Eubank Jr has long being known to almost train himself which has been criticised by a number of former boxers who say one cannot get to the top of the sport without listening to and trusting in a full-time coach.
The Brit has now hired Nate Vasquez of the Mayweather Boxing Gym to assist him, a former fighter himself who now trains boxers and MMA fighters in Las Vegas.
Speaking at today’s press conference to announce the fight DeGale said he looks forward to doing a ‘proper job’ on the ‘deluded’ Eubank in just seven weeks time.
