Rigondeaux First Fight Since Loss To Lomachenko Gone Totally Under The Radar

Former pound for pound Cuban boxing maestro Guillermo Rigondeaux returns to the sport of boxing this month as it turns out.

He’s gone off social media since his loss last year to Vasyl Lomachenko in a fight that saw him step up to face a much bigger man and ultimately get stopped inside the distance after he retired mid fight.

He’s back this month however and will take on Giovanni Delgado on January 13th in LA in a relatively low key affair next weekend.

Not much has been made about the fight.

Purposefully one suspects as ‘Rigo’ most likely is looking at this just as a quick new year run out to erase the memory of the Lomachenko defeat.

No news has been confirmed yet how if any way there will be to watch the fight online or on TV.
