The belts subsequently became fragmented after Fury vacated them not long after due to a lengthy battle with depression that he overcame last year.
What went on to happen after that was the emergence of a new, genuinely exciting heavyweight division once again where the likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury battle it out at the top this year to prove who really is the best heavyweight on Earth.
