Kell Brook Moving On From Amir Khan As He Receives A New Opponent Offer

Kell Brook Moving On From Amir Khan As Next Opponent Offer Made

Former IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook is not waiting around for long standing rival Amir Khan anymore it would seem.

Khan is due to announce his next fight against Terence Crawford tomorrow in London.

The prospects of a Kell Brook fight with Khan look further away than ever before with Khan’s fight against Crawford the last of his three-fight deal with mutual promoter of Brook — Eddie Hearn.

Sky Sports have reported that Brook and his team have now being offered a fight against former world champion Australian Jeff Horn.

It is not clear where or when just yet but likely the fight would be at welterweight one would imagine.

Particularly if Brook wants to keep chasing this elusive Amir Khan fight which Khan said must happen at 147lbs if it is to happen at all.

A lot should be made more clear tomorrow at the Khan vs Crawford press conference when Khan fields questions pertaining to Brook and his decision making though process in opting for the Crawford fight alternatively.

From what I gather it will be a Top Rank promoted event and promoter of Khan, Eddie Hearn won’t even be there in person himself tomorrow in London.

One would wonder how disappointed Hearn is with Khan after he signed him last year on a three-fight deal with the main goal at the time to get the Brook fight now not coming off in the end.

That goal and objective has now failed.
