Photos: Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner Weigh-In

LAS VEGAS —  Manny Pacquiao easily made the 147-pound weight limit for their WBA welterweight title showdown this Saturday at the MGM Grand Arena Arena.

Pacquiao, who received a roar of approval from an appreciated crow, tipped the scales at an even 146 while Broner Broner registered 146.5 pounds.

Pacquiao, a Senator from the Philippines and the world’s only eight-division champ is headlining the Las Vegas card for the first time since November 5, 2016 when he decisioned an over-matched Jessie Vargas.

His record is imposing, 60-7-2 with 39 KOs. But Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) is no pushover, having won four division titles himself.

Broner is also 11 years younger than the 40-year old Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is hoisted as a -280 favorite while Broner is a plus 230 underdog.

The bout is expected to rake in some $16 million for Pacquiao when the final pay-per-view buys tally is finalized.

But the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is the Floyd Mayweather rematch this July, if things go well for the Filipino icon.
