Andre Ward Makes Good Point About Badou Jack’s Defeat To Marcus Browne

Tonight saw Mayweather promoted Badou Jack suffer a unanimous points decision and the second defeat of his professional career.

A well deserved win for light-heavyweight Marcus Browne in the end but a bout filled with cuts and difficulty for one-time world champ Jack.

Ever the game warrior and class act however, Jack rallied late on and never gave up despite knowing he needed a knockout.

Former pound for pound number one Andre Ward summed it up well:

The cut Jack suffered in the fight looked horrific to be fair and most likely will need some sort of plastic surgery tonight to guard against permanent scaring.

Perhaps one of the worst cuts seen in recent boxing memory.

It could be some time before Jack returns to the ring after such a cut.

Following the defeat and scores getting read out tonight Jack pushed his coach away.
