Sergey Kovalev Responds To Allegations About Assaulting A Woman

Recent reports allege that former light-heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev punched a woman in the face after he was charged with felony assault, allegedly.

Kovalev lost his WBO title in his last bout against
Eleider Alvarez and is now set to rematch him next month in Frisco on February 2nd.

According to reporter Michael Benson, Kovalev has now given his retort to the allegations on social media in what appears to be an English translation reply:

At this time Sergey Kovalev remains innocent until proven guilty and is still scheduled to partake in his next professional boxing match.

The only two other defeats in the Russian’s pro boxing career have only come to former pound for pound number one Andre Ward.

Sergey Kovalev at this time has a professional boxing record of 32-3-1-28KO.
