Dillian Whyte Has A Theory On The Failed Anthony Joshua Negotiations

Dillian Whyte has come out swinging in the media all week following the total collapse of talks between him and current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to stage a fight.

Whyte revealed on Sky Sports this week that Joshua wanted more in a possible rematch with him even if Whyte were to win their next fight if it were agreed.

He also rubbished Jarrell Miller who is touted to take on Joshua next up as ‘rubbish’ and speaking to the folks on Talk Sport Whyte has now gone a step further.

He is now saying that he was simply used by Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn to keep the price down in negotiations for what is expected to be Joshua vs Miller up next:

Tensions certainly seem to be running high at the moment as Whyte continues to shop around to see what other potential avenues his career might hold for him next up.

That said, April 20th is thought to be the leading date for Whyte’s next fight against the likes of Alexander Povetkin or Dominic Breazeale on a show at the 02 in London promoted by Whyte’s current promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport.
