Freddie Roach Posts Emotional Message and People Love Him For It

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is currently 58 years young and still actively training fighters despite having Parkinson’s Disease which some predicted would have ended his active training career by now a number of years back.

Not the case however.

Far from it, too.

A former fighter himself and never one to feel sorry for himself, Freddie Roach continues to not only inspire the fighters he trains every day but also the wider boxing world at large.

He’s posted the following on Instagram which really says it all about him:

If there really is such a thing as real life heroes then Freddie Roach has to be the closest thing to what one is supposed to be.

The ultimate example of that if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life.

Recently Freddie Roach was in the corner once again of his most famed and successful fighting pupil Manny Pacquiao.

‘Pacman’ at the age of 40 recorded a shut out unanimous points win over 29 year old Adrien Broner last month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
