Lennox Lewis Reveals Who His Toughest Fight Was

Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Lennox Lewis has been in the news in the sport of boxing a lot lately despite being retired for some time now.

But he’s very active on social media and in the media in general.

He’s never shy to give his opinion out to be fair.

He’s been in the news quite a bit lately as regards his opinion on his fellow British heavyweight and a man who’s also become a world champion — Anthony Joshua.

Lewis, like many in boxing, have been critical of Joshua only in the last year of so specifically since opportunities (tangible ones that is) to fight Deontay Wilder and other rival Tyson Fury have come up.

Alas, Joshua is still yet to face either.

Both Fury and Wilder fought one another last year and are set to rematch this year and Lewis from his own point of view also faced his rivals in his career like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.

When asked by one fan this week on Twitter who his toughest fight ever was Lewis conceded:

“Holyfield.”

If Joshua were to not fight Wilder or Fury by the end of 2019 it would put Fury and Wilder in pole position at the top of the heavyweight division without doubt.

Joshua takes on Jarrell Miller next up in the US.
