Anthony Joshua Drops Corporate Act When Asked About Tyson Fury

Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua really showed himself in a genuine light this week at his latest fight announcement against Jarrell Miller on June 1st at MSG.

Many have criticized the ferocious fighter of being to media trained outside of the ring with some calling him things like ‘Fake J.”

Absolute garbage.

I remember meeting him before and the above couldn’t be further from the truth.

A polite, intelligent and deep thinking guy who literally waits around for hours taking pictures with fans and kids at all his events.

But above all that — a pure fighter when he gets in the ring.

One of the most pure in modern times.

He wants the Fury and Wilder fights badly and when asked about them he let his guard down this week and said what he really feels about Fury in particular.

Speaking at the press conference to announce his fight with Jarrell Miller, Joshua said:

“Fury’s been professional for 11 years, had one good win against Klitschko and now he’s a boxing God.”

Fair play. People appreciate that kind of honesty.

What a time for the heavyweight division with these three rivals at the top of it – Joshua, Wilder and Fury.

Over the next 12 months or so we should find out who really is the best heavyweight fighter on the planet.
