In recent days a story broke on TMZ alleging that boxing star Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis had been arrested at a shopping mall following an alleged incident that took place between him and another male near an ATM machine.
No substantial evidence in the report was forthcoming and Davis has now said the following on his own Twitter account:
Davis recently returned to the ring with an impressive knockout win over Hugo Ruiz last month.
The bout was previously meant to be against Mexican warrior Abner Mares but a late injury forced Mares out of the fight at the last minute.
Davis has been linked with some big fights this year against the likes of pound for pound stars such as Vasyl Lomachenko.
