‘Money’ Mayweather is living up to the nickname as ever following a recent 42nd birthday bash that was extravagant as they come.
The former pound for pound number one boxer these days boxes in exhibition fights against people who are not necessarily even boxers for enormous amounts of cash.
While he’s come in for a lot of criticism for the move recently, you can’t really blame him if one was to put himself in that position to be able to get those kind of pay days for little risk.
Recently he’s been out and about showing off his new $18 million dollar watch to the Matthew Shapiro YouTube channel (hat tip):
Not bad if you can get it, as they say.
As for good old Floyd in the boxing ring next up — many think that a rematch with Manny Pacquiao could still definitely happen.
Rematches with Conor McGregor and Canelo Alvarez have also been mentioned.
Although with Mayweather now being 42 it’s hard to see him risking his undefeated record against a young in his prime version of Canelo now.
Expect news in the next month or so on Mayweather’s next ‘fight’ of sorts.
