Boxing Trainer Knocks Out Man In Street Fight After Befriending Him After Beer

For those involved in the sport of boxing, anyone with significant training using it on the streets is known to be one of the most despicable things that can be done really.

Unless it’s in self defense of course.

A very unusual story coming out of the UK has been picked up on by Gloucestershire Live who have reported that a boxing coach by the name of
Darren Allen-Jones pleaded guilty to robbing a man of his phone following a night out.

But it doesn’t end with that.

The story alleges that the boxing trainer knocked out the victim with a powerful right hook before this happened and instead of helping him up to his feet — he proceeded to go through his pockets while he lay unconscious on the floor.

It is further reported that the two men met at a bar and following drinks shared a line of cocaine when a comment made by the victim annoyed the boxing trainer which sparked the turn of events.

All in all, one of the more weird stories we’ve come across in boxing in a while.

Two friends enjoying a beer and the next minute good night.

In more ways than one.
