WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder had been accused in the past of jealousy towards former pound for pound number one boxer Floyd Mayweather.
The two appeared to have a frosty relationship according to some reports subsequently.
Both men were at this past weekend’s big fight in Texas between Errol Spence and Mikey Garcia and whatever grudge they had in the past clearly doesn’t exist anymore as Wilder can be seen below approaching Mayweather and expressing respect:

As for Wilder, a big press conference tomorrow (Tuesday) is set to take place where he’ll confirm once and for all where his fights will be shown on going forward.
It is also expected that he will announce Dominic Breazeale as his next opponent.
Previously efforts were made to make a Wilder vs Tyson Fury rematch and a Wilder vs Anthony Joshua super fight but neither look close to happening now anytime soon, sadly.
That said, life goes on and if we can at least get two of the above three names to box in the ring by the end of the year 2019 won’t have been that bad year after all for the heavyweight division.
One can live in hope at least.
