Marcos Maidana has returned to boxing training in recent weeks as he bids to shed the pounds and get back down to his old fight weight amid a planned return to professional boxing.
When the Argentinian big hitter did compete a few years back before retiring from the sport he competed in the welterweight division with his two most notable fights coming against Floyd Mayweather.

A big claim there for sure.
Time will tell on what transpires following this explosive claim and on how his planned comeback goes overall.
He is currently training with strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza as he bids to continue to lose weight in a healthy manner before having a comeback fight later this year.
Maidana has called out many of the big names around welterweight before announcing the comeback but realistically don’t expect his first opponent back to be in the top ten of the welterweight shark pool.
