Tyson Fury Las Vegas Debut Goes Off In Style
Lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury electrified the boxing world this weekend in the fight capital of the world.
He did so largely with a combination of his expert boxing skills and ability to entertain.
His talent to fight perhaps only bettered by his outside the ring charisma and personality all week.
Las Vegas is known as one of the premier destinations in the world for entertainment and Fury lived up to this lofty expectation in some style.
Between Rocky-style entrances, matrix-style boxing moves, an early stoppage win over opponent Tom Schwarz inside two rounds and erupting into full song in the ring and post-fight press conference afterwards — Fury showed himself as the full package.
Professional boxing is about entertainment at the end of the day.
Selling tickets, generating big numbers and attracting the masses is what boxers at the highest level must do in the greatest sport of them all.
Fury did all of the above last night and then some.
He also did so on the world’s largest sports network, ESPN.
Between the megaphone the network have given him, his personality and his innate understanding of the sweet science, American and world sports fans appear to be really warming to the ‘Gypsy King’.
Here’s how many boxing fans (including many celebs) on Twitter have reacted to what they saw from Fury at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Fury now moves on to an expected rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in the early part of next year.
The pair previously fought to a draw last December that saw Wilder retain his title.
News on where and when the fight will take place should be forthcoming soon.
