The much publicized KSI vs Logan Paul 2 boxing match took place a short time ago at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
It was billed as a move by the sport of boxing to look to try to introduce new fans to the sport whom might not have watched the sweet science otherwise.
Both YouTube stars command huge fan bases from younger fans on YouTube but this time the pair’s fight was presented on a legitimate professional boxing card.
A fight show that featured top tier, genuine world boxing talent in the form of Billy Joe Saunders and Devin Haney.

Ultimately England’s KSI won the fight when it went to the scorecards.
He won by split decision.
Here’s some of the reaction from those in the boxing community during tonight’s festivities:
All in all, was tonight’s KSI vs Logan Paul fight good for boxing?
Only time will tell.
If more young fans stay watching the sweet science as a result of tonight’s experiment than that can only be a good thing.
Surely.
Obviously the fight was not a representation of professional boxing and was for entertainment purposes.
A bit of a ludicrous concept in many ways but certainly one that generated a substantial amount of interest and cash.
The question is, at what point does entertainment come at a cost to damaging boxing’s brand?
Or, is that even really possible to do at this stage — in this crazy day and age we now live in?
KSI vs Logan Paul 2 who won in the end?

Whether or not we see another one of these things in the new year remains to be seen.
