Deontay Wilder Makes Bold Claim In His Joshua vs Ruiz 2 Prediction

Deontay Wilder Makes Bold Claim In His Joshua vs Ruiz 2 Prediction

WBC heavyweight champion of the world Deontay Wilder goes back to work tonight but he has his eye also on another big fight in just a couple of weeks time.

Indeed, a lot hinges on the heavyweight division between now and December 7th with a lot of its big star names in action.

For Wilder, he must get past a dangerous assignment in Luis Ortiz tonight in Las Vegas.

Something his handlers wanted nothing to do with and by all accounts tried to offer Ortiz’ team step aside money to avoid so that their man could safely fight Tyson Fury in a rematch next Feburary.

But this is boxing where nothing is ever straight forward.

The ultimate game of chess really for those akin and fond of the game.

In just two weeks time on December 7th in Saudi Arabia, another piece of the heavyweight boxing chess board takes shape when Andy Ruiz Jr and Anthony Joshua duke it out for a second time.

Ruiz shocked the world earlier this year when he knocked out former champion Joshua.

Second time round many think Joshua will make quick work of Ruiz but not WBC champ Wilder.

In fact, he thinks it will be Ruiz who will beat Joshua even easier this time round:

Time will tell, as they say.

First thing’s first, Wilder needs to look after the man in front of him tonight in Luis Ortiz.

Tonight’s boxing takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The main event should get underway about 9 pm local time on the West coast.
