The big one is upon us today.
Later on at approximately 2pm local time in LA on the West coast, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and lineal champion Tyson Fury will once again meet in person.
A little over a year since their first bout in December 2018, a fight scored a draw that saw Wilder retain his title, a lot has happened since in boxing.
In fairness to Wilder he’s been keeping busy with some tough opponents in 2019 but in many ways opponent wise, 2019 was an easy touch for Fury.
That said, many forget where Fury had to come back from both mentally and physically to get to the first Wilder fight the first time.
Something that was probably too early in his comeback looking back on it.
Understandably, he let his body and mind settle back down into the sport last year as well as announcing his personality and brand to the American market in 2019.
Now though the time has come for the rematch on February 22nd in Las Vegas.
