Over the past day or so there has been widespread condemnation of a highly controversial sparring footage tape.
That of which containing a talented middleweight prospect and what is clearly an over-matched and out gunned foe incapable of defending himself.
Sparring is sparring of course but when the following clip showed what appears to be a novice boxer in the ring with a talented professional prospect — the boxing community let their voice heard:
How the above was allowed to happen is certainly concerning.

All in all, hopefully something not to be seen again in a boxing gym anytime soon.
As for boxing’s return, more and more indications tend to suggest boxing will be back behind closed doors next month in the US.
