Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder’s rematch in the USA got the buzz going again but not long after boxing, like all sports, were put on hold.
Now though, we have a big fight announcement with the other title older in the division in the form of the UK’s Anthony Joshua vs Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev.
Promoter Eddie Hearn announced date and venue:
Good stuff old chap.
Something for fight fans to really look forward to as a horrible year comes to an end ahead of the Christmas period.
Here’s what some of the fight fraternity have been saying thus far:
At least we have some movement again at the top end of the division.
As regards the other belts and main lineal champion Tyson Fury, it is unclear just yet what happens next.
Fury had been tipped to take on Deontay Wilder in a third fight recently but there seems to be different information circulating as to where the fight is at.
For now though, this is positive news and something to look forward to. We have life again.
On another fight note, enjoy tonight’s Lomachenko vs Lopez fight in Las Vegas.
Boxing ending the year strong.
