Jermall Charlo Gives Take On Alleged Fury Cheating Against Wilder

Undefeated WBC middleweight world champion Jermall Charlo is hoping to have news of his next fight soon.

The 30-year-old boxed just once last year.

A unanimous points victory that took him to 31-0-22 KO as a professional.

Talks suggest that he is one of the potential names in the mix for a Canelo Alvarez mega fight later in the year.

One way or another Charlo should have news soon.

He has taken time out to give his take for the mean time on a controversial issue in the heavyweight division in recent months.

Alleged cheating allegations from former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder against lineal champion Tyson Fury.

The former pertaining to their rematch last year.

Fellow stablemate to Wilder, Charlo has rubbished the claims:

Fury and Wilder are currently in mediation but it is thought Fury will face Anthony Joshua instead later in the year.

Andy Ruiz Jr has been mentioned as a possible opponent for Wilder later in the year.

All in all, big fights at the highest level still are hard to make internationally due to the world situation.

Give it time over the coming months and hopefully things will get better.
