IBF super-middleweight world champion Caleb Plant won a convincing unanimous points decision on Saturday night against fellow Caleb, Caleb Truax live on Fox in LA.
It was a shut out win in the end with Plant winning everything in the eyes of the judges.
All three awarded him the fight 120-108 on the scorecards in a very impressive boxing display.
Plant’s use of the jab, speed and footwork to get in and out after doing his work producing a confident, assured, very comfortable display in the ring.

Plant continues to move on to big things in his career.
Negotiations for a potential fight against Canelo Alvarez could come up again at some point in the later part of 2021.
Should Canelo and Plant keep winning.
Canelo likely will have two fights before that with Plant’s opportunity later in the year were he to keep winning.
Fellow promotional stablemate Charlo will also be looking for the Canelo fight too of course.
Certainly the jab and slick skills of fighters like Plant, Saunders and Charlo can all ask questions of Canelo.
Tonight’s win improved Plant’s professional boxing record to 21-0-12 KO.
