118-111, 118-111, 116-113 were read in favor of Barrett.
Two of those terrible for Martinez really.
Promoter of the event Eddie Hearn expressed his own disgust.
Martinez showed at 34 he still has plenty to give in the sport however.
Super-featherweight a solid division at the moment so there’ll be plenty of opportunities again for him.
Barrett moves on with a professional record now reading 25-1-15 KO at this time.
