While social media has somewhat in today’s times become nothing than more than garbage, for the sport of boxing it is still very useful for fan opinion.
Even in today’s screwed up times and world.
Indeed, sometimes even fights in the sport can get made on social media.
Such is the absolute state of the world these days.
More often than not though when a fight is actually getting made in the real world (social media isn’t real life at the end of the day) things go quiet.
That’s probably the best way to make the fights happen anyway.
If there is one big takeaway outside of Oscar Valdez announcing himself as a star in the sport this weekend, perhaps it is his trainer.
Eddy Reynoso.
Another epic win for Reynoso.
A boxing coach on an electric run.
Fighters under his guidance also including the likes of Ryan Garcia, Canelo Alvarez and Andy Ruiz Jr.
Here’s what some of the boxing world said of him this weekend:
Some high praise there.
Well deserved.
Surely an early candidate for trainer of the year already.
An unstoppable force in the sport of boxing at the minute.
Fair play.
Next up Canelo Alvarez next week no less.
