Obviously Canelo Alvarez would absolutely flatten Floyd Mayweather quickly if they were to fight again now.

Mayweather is 44 and has been retired some time.
For some reason though many fans keep bringing his name back into things when it comes to Canelo Alvarez.
ESPN asked the following on social media which seems to have gotten a huge response:
Bit of a farcical question in fairness but seems to have caused a huge reaction among sport fans.
Look, Mayweather is an old man now in terms of competing at the highest level in boxing.
That’s it for him.
Expect him to purely just engage in these exhibition things from here on out.
Apparently that Logan Paul thing is close to happening once again.
As for Alvarez, he moves on to his next bout against Billy Joe Saunders on April 8th live once again on streaming platform DAZN as his second fight in a two-fight deal.
