Former two-time world champion David Benavidez took on Ronald Ellis in a WBC super-middleweight title eliminator last night in Connecticut.
He knew he needed to look impressive as persistent talks of a potential super-fight with Canelo Alvarez down the line continue.
He lived up to his end of the bargain on Saturday night.

Big things await no doubt as the year unfolds. An accomplished champion already but still quite young.
