Undefeated rising star Devin Haney in many ways will be in the first live, real danger fight of his professional career next up.
The news that he takes on Jorge Linares in Vegas on May 29th a welcome one and in keeping with the solid matchmaking needed for these fighters to develop, improve and excel.
Linares, a respected technical operator and dangerous puncher, comes into the fight off the back of two wins, so isn’t done just yet.
He’ll have experience on Haney and surely will look to take his head clean off his shoulders at some point.
As will Haney, an exciting all-rounder, well versed seemingly across the board in every sweet science department.
Complimented by a good attitude and work ethic.
Like Linares, he boxed once last year due to the world situation so discipline and who is in the best shape physically and mentally could determine a lot in this one.
Great fight to look forward to.
It will take place at the Michelob Ultra Arena (formerly Mandalay Bay).
