Pound for pound boxing star Canelo Alvarez has been putting in the work for his next fight May 8th against Billy Joe Saunders alongside a number of heavyweights recently.
Most notably Mexican-American former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr.
But, it turns out Canelo has tipped another fighter to become the next heavyweight champion.
A fighter by the name of Frank Sanchez.
Canelo, while now speaking more English than ever, explains here to EsNews YouTube (hat tip):
28 year old Cuban Sanchez currently holds a professional record of 17-0-13 KO.
He now fights out of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Nicknamed ‘The Cuban Flash’ he is coming off the back of two knockout victories at present.
Like many Cuban heavyweights, he promises to have a lot of talent but time will tell if he keeps the dedication long-term.
If he does, an exciting addition to the on fire heavyweight division now, and, in the years ahead.
