Puerto Rican-American Edgar Berlanga proved to be one of the great stories of the 2020 lockdowns and bubbles of boxing with an astonishing knockout streak.
Fight after fight he knocked his opponents out at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
A happy stomping ground for him indeed.
However his first fight of 2021 and outside of the fight capital of the world saw that knockout streak finally end.
But not without trying though.
Four knockdowns here in an awesome display and another win notched up:

The victory saw him improve his professional boxing record to 17-0-16 KO.
Berlanga has shown tremendous promise and one expects he will be stepped up in competition at the appropriate time. Likely later in the year.
Certainly one of the bright prospects in boxing with explosive punching power to keep an eye on for the future.
