The trend of legends of the ring coming back to the sport well past their days of being active, in exhibitions, looks set to continue.
One Mike Tyson leading the charge no less.
Old Tyson fought Roy Jones Jr last year. It did excellent numbers on pay per view.
An event that captured world attention but also one that delivered entertainment to those outside of boxing.
No overly stoned or drunk commentators that night, though. Each to their own, Snoop Dogg and De La Hoya.
Now, speaking Tyson has told the world he wants a piece of Lennox Lewis in a rematch saying:
“I’m fighting Lennox Lewis in September baby! Evander is out! Lennox is in!”
Well, that was unexpected.
The pair fought for the title nearly twenty years ago.
