Watch: Deontay Wilder Works On New Defense and Counters

Boxing is a game of chess.

Chess, not checkers.

A real thinking man’s game and it’s called the sweet science for a reason.

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder had a strong amateur background, although it was brief, before turning pro.

However, one respectful criticism of his pro career was he became a bit too wild with his punches as time went on.

It appears with the help of his new trainer, coach Scott, he is going back and making fixes in some tecnical departments including defense and counter strikes:
