Australia’s Ebanie Bridges continues to go from strength to strength.
Women’s boxing’s momentum is a bit of a strange one sometimes, in truth.
It seems like sometimes there is big interest in it and then all of a sudden, the interest fades and dies completely.
Obviously when the big names fight there’s public interest and Bridges this year has brought a lot of attention to women’s boxing.
It’s still not big enough though to consistently keep the biggest stars paid enough in it, like Claressa Shields, who is now boxing and fighting in MMA.
Bridges is continuing to grow her name and helping women’s boxing and has proven a big hit in Mexico, clearly, like everywhere she has gone this year:
A perfect example of why boxing promoters are becoming less and less important as the years go by.
