Former world champion turned promoter Oscar De La Hoya had one of his fighter’s lose at the weekend but his stock will still be good.
Possibly increasing even.
Jorge Linares was involved in an excellent fight with young world champion Devin Haney.
Haney winning by unanimous points decision in the end.
De La Hoya reacted to the loss by saying:
Great fight for sure.
Big things still ahead for Linares if he comes back stronger.
As for Haney, a fight with Teofimo Lopez would be excellent.
So many other fights there too though.
