Look, there’s a lot of garbage in boxing and in the world at the moment, obviously, but once again, respectfully, each to their own.
Different fan bases will buy into different things.
The world is becoming more independent and critically thinking by the day with the growing distrust of some countries’ governments and linked to, but not limited to, some traditional or legacy press outlets’ easy to see through boring repetitive narratives.
No conspiracy theories or any of that crap but at the end of the day, in the eyes of reasonable, sober-minded individuals or companies, it is what it is.
Boxing, for its part, is having quite the strange time with former legends returning to the ring all the time.
This past weekend Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez fought son of deceased boxing legend Hector Camacho, Camacho Jr. in an exhibition.
At one point the head gear nearly came off in a wild moment.
Not long after, Chavez then brought current boxing star and champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez into the ring:
