Floyd Mayweather has been doing a bit more boxing coaching work in recent times since his retirement from professional boxing.
He has been seen for instance taking champion Gervonta Davis on the pads and giving him technical advise extensively.
It has paid off clearly.
Davis at only 26 is now a three-weight world champion and finds himself with the world of sport at his feet.
If he can stay disciplined overall in what is a short career at the end of the day, that of a professional fighter, there’s no telling how far he can go.
Surprisingly it has emerged that Mayweather in between rounds this weekend in Davis’ win over Mario Barrios in Atlanta told Davis he was down on the unofficial scorecards.
It worked.
Davis went out and knocked Barrios out in round 11.
