Old competitors and business acquaintances Floyd Mayweather of America and Conor McGregor of Ireland were exchanging friendly banter again it would appear.
The Irishman lost in the first round on Saturday to Dustin Poirier and suffered a significant injury to his leg.
Mayweather subsequently shared that he had won a bet on the result, thanking Poirier for getting him paid a few bucks.
McGregor has since replied to Mayweather today saying:
The Dub and the Las Vegan clearly still on relatively cordial terms.
There had been talk the two down the line could compete in some type of exhibition eventually.
Who knows.
The pair fought in professional boxing a few years back.
